Daddy's boy

My heart was filled with gladness when I take a picture of hubby and baby Nathan playing in our bed. I noticed Nathan kept touching his daddy’s face every time they play around. He really extends his little hands and reached to touch hubby’s face and then smile. I can’t help but smile looking at that amazing moments with my two boys. One day, I would love to see them running around the mall. Baby Nathan can give hubby a nice exercise, I’m sure with that :)
What a lovely sight :)))

Planning Week

My weekend was so busy I really need a good massage after our long day in Quaipo. We went there to develop the picture invitations of Nathan for his coming baptismal this March. It takes almost 2 hours because of too many customers so we decided to stroll around. We planned to go to Malate Church to register Nathan and pass the requirements but we don’t have much time to do that so we will prioritize it next week.

Tomorrow, we will go to Divisoria to pick up the souvenirs I bought last weekend. I guess I need an energizer to move on. I'm wondering where in the world does hubby getting all his strength? He seems so full of energy!

Nathan's invitations made by a friend. So cute!

Happy Valentines!

Hubby never ceases to surprise me that on the eve of Valentines day he really waited for the clock to strikes midnight though I saw that he’s really sleepy and surprise me with my much awaited Canon EOS 500d SLR camera with a box of ferrero chocolates and the sweetest I love you card I ever had.

I can’t think much of anything to give hubby except saying I love you and telling him how thankful I am for having him in my life. I can never imagine life without him and now with Nathan in tow. Life is much better with my 2 boys. We had dinner in a full packed Shakeys restaurant near SM Sucat and I slipped my Valentine card for him in his planner and gave him the sweetest mini fancy donuts from Country Style because I couldn’t think of anything else to buy. Ha-ha!

But I’ll make it up to him on his birthday this April. I promise. Happy Valentines, my sweet haney! :)

Sweet Baby

Can’t believe baby Nathan is all grown up now. The way he respond to us through giggling and smiling and some baby talks I know there will come a time that I will see him walking around our house. I like taking pictures of him and sometimes he will look straight in the camera and make some faces. One time, I caught him laughing but he wouldn’t look at the camera. He responds to our open-close hand gestures by raising his hand and moving his fingers.
He’s a fast learner, few more months and he will surely learn a lot of things. Hubby told him some children’s story and he looked at his father intently as if he understood every word he said. Way to go, baby Nate!

Best Way

I always wanted to drive my brother’s car but I still don’t have the courage to take the exams and the driving tests so I can get a driver’s license. I fear that I will fail the written exams and it will be a waste of time since I need to take a leave of absence from work. And besides, I have to pay for the written exams that will just end up with nothing if I fail. So imagine my dilemma whether to do it or not. My hubby is urging me to at least try it just once and I’ve got to find time to do that. But I need to make it easier for me like a free dmv practice test, hassle free and 100% guaranteed.

What if there’s something that can help you pass the test that easy? It will be a great help especially for those who haven’t got much time reading and reviewing the manuals. So I will take every opportunity to make it easier for me, a learning tips perhaps. I really wanted to have my own driver’s license and if there’s one thing that will help me ease my problem, I will grab and take it as long as it will fulfill my dreams of driving a car and go to many places I would like to visit.

Thankful

I’m so happy for what’s happening right now and I thank God that hubby finally started in his new job and some blessings that came our way. Baby Nathan is in good health and he started to move around on his crib and trying to flip over on his chest with the delight of his grandmas. We are planning for his baptism this March and I’m quite busy looking for the caterer instead of dining in a restaurant. My sisters will help me on the preparations and decors and I hope everything will turn out right.

Aubrey Reine is also graduating this school year and I can’t wait to see her wearing her high school uniform. I can still remember the naughty and bubbly toddler moving around our house but now she’s all grown up.

Thank God for making all these possible. We owe it all to You.

Plan Ahead

When my hubby’s father got sick and has been admitted to the hospital many times last year, I thought we will not be able to pull it through for any more expenses when he died. Good thing he had Burial Insurance that helped us make it though until the end. We will never be able to cover all his funeral expenses if not because of it.

My in-laws planned this seniors funeral insurance after he retired from his company. He said it will help us and it did. I remember him talking to us about how good to have this kind of insurance policy even though he still feels healthy. He said he was guided by health resource for seniors that he knows what to do and planned not only for himself but also for those he left behind.
