I'm Your Angel

After a long time, we finally used the Pioneer component my hubby bought as his Christmas gift to himself last year. I'm referring to our battle of singers in our house. Since he bought the compo, we haven't tried the using it to sing. But this time, I bought a series of VCD karaoke at Astroplus in MOA last week and I'm urging him to try to sing a song with me coz I know he's not use in singing with duets.

My hubby was a band lead singer before in his company and he was also a school choir singer (tenor) since his elementary days. And we know his voice can make places if he wants to pursue it and he even passed in the PETA audition. But his college course was way different, so he dropped the opportunity and instead work his way as engineer. And now you can only hear him singing while taking a shower or doing his work in front of his laptop. Due to his work load, he even resigned in his band to concentrate on his projects.

I'm into singing also and because of that we met when they held an audition for the company choir to perform in the 20th anniversary of the company. To make the long story short, we both made it in the choir, we had an applauded performance that night in PICC and that year, we became officially on.

So last Monday, i asked him to sing a love duets by Celine Dion and R. Kelly, "I'm your Angel" but he said he doesn't know the man part of the song.. I insisted and he tried singing with me without a microphone ( he is so vain with his voice). Our voices blend. And few more practices, we will be able to perfect the song. And I am so happy I get him to sing again. I missed that.

This is our song for the week in our office. And every song for the week, will be played over and over again till we memorize each and every line of the lyrics...hehehehe.
It's a cute song and really reminds me of me and my hubby having fun..teasing and tickling each other before we lay down to rest. He used to hug me so tight that i've learned to used my feet just to get loose on his grip. Because when he starts to laugh, its seems his whole body become so sensitive that if i tickle any part of it, he'll let go and i can get away with him... oh well, i'm letting you know one of our secrets behind the closed door of our room... =)

Aha, i heard another cute new song ... its sounds like a song in an old commercial tv ads of a softdrinks...especially the intro..

Since the singer is new to me... i do some research and here it goes...

When me and my hubby had these "precious" little time to chat on the latest about us....work, family etc, i never forget to ask if he loves me... in which he will quickly replied, "SUPER!" when i barge to be serious and pretend to feel sad... he will pinch me in my nose and say, " of course, i do"...

Those were my "jealous" days.... knowing how good my husband at work and dealing with other people, with his usual cool guy effect... and wonderful singing voice.. plus a knowing smile to each and every one...

If ever you will know our love story, how it began and how we survive the storm.. 4 years of going steady before marrying ... its cute... just like the lyrics of one of my fave love song....

Dawsons Creek was one of my favorites tv show in my early teens.. I even bought a very expensive sound track CD from my savings in school....memorize each and every song in the CD... Letting go is what i like most....
