Advance School

I recently talked to a friend who wants to pursue a graduate studies but she’s worried that she can’t make it because she is currently working and at the same time she has a child to take care off. I said not to worry much because she could do all the preparations for the exams via online or if she wants to ask for a consultant to help her pass the admission tests. In Chicago gmat prep all the things she needed will be laid down to her and without consuming much of her time. All she need is a proven and reliable GMAT instructors that will help her succeed or she can enrolled via online so whenever she’s at work or attending to her child needs she can still catch up on the lessons she will missed.

It is very important that you know what you need and what you must do in choosing your course or even choosing the school. My friend is preparing for her future and I know through Gmat Prep, she will be guided through the process and will even give her free GMAT tests online. I believe in her and I know after this she will get a very high GMAT score.

5th Month!

It's baby Nathan's 5th month and I'm proud to say that he's growing so fast and learning a lot. I bought a cake at Goldilocks and my Mom cooked a special pansit canton for us. He kept on moving on every directions and my older sister said if you loosen up your grip on Nathan he'll fall. When you asked him to come to you, he will now raise both his hands and smile. He loves to look on a toothpaste commercial on TV featuring those cute toddlers dancing and singing. He wants to hold on anything he can reach then bring it straight to his mouth. So you have to be alert. You just can't leave him alone like that aside from when he's sleeping. He learns to stick his tongue out when you said the word "beeeh!" and I'm delighted to say that he first learned the word.. "ma..ma..ma".

Nathan's orange choco cake.

We didn't even notice that he was able to grabbed the cake and then put the icing on his mouth! :)

Mommy and baby Nathan (he's already sleepy that time).

We love you so much, baby! :)

Summer Days

Summer finally takes over and it means we can expect lot of green and yellow fruits around us. When i visited a friend (who is by the way a heaven sent to us when we needed someone to take care of Summer, my brother's 4-year old Labrador dog), I noticed that the jackfruit tree in front of their house bears a lot of fruits! I can't help but to take a picture of it because it's not usual in that area to have fruit bearing trees because of congested houses and they live near the service road. But i guess that tree lives a decade or more to withstand the test of weather and time.

My memory brings me back to our childhood days when we used to live in a place where my Dad planted fruit trees and vegetable and we can get and eat anything we want when they seasoned. I miss those times, I miss our old house and I miss my family being there and together.

I hope this summer will bring lots of good happenings to our family. With baby Nathan around I know this will be the best summer ever. :)

Silver Linings

When an earthquake rocks Japan and a massive tsunami follows, I know words cannot express from what happens to the people near the coastlines where the tsunami strikes. People around the world were devastated from what we are viewing in the videos. Our deepest regrets to those who perished and injured in this catastrophe, and I cried for those people who couldn’t do nothing to save themselves from the deadly force of nature.

But above all these sad stories lies a miracle. I’ve read in a website that Japan rescue team just pulled out a 4-month old baby girl from the rubbles. It was indeed a miracle because they couldn’t comprehend why the baby girl survived amidst cold and mountains of debris that surrounds her. But that baby give them hope and strength to continue searching under the cold weather hoping there are still survivors somewhere.

I just read another touching story that made me cry. A story of an injured spaniel dog who survived from the disaster and protecting his gravely injured friend dog. He wouldn’t let anyone come near them. And the video I saw was so heartbreaking because I can see the love between them, and they are animals, imagine that! I love dogs and it is so sad to see your pets suffering like that. But the good news is, when the video of these 2 dogs was seen on TV. The local veterinary clinic rescued them and they are now recuperating from a separate shelters in the same town. Yehey! See, through the dark clouds there is always a silver lining. God bless our mother Earth.

Christian World

Nathan’s “B” day happens yesterday at the Malate Catholic Church were hubby and I married 6 years ago. My family wants Nathan to be baptized in Manila Cathedral were all of my siblings and nephews and niece were baptized in Manila Cathedral. But hubby and I decided to change the tradition because we saw that it is convenient for everybody (travel and location) who will attend the event. I already made a reservation on Malate Church’s function hall a month before and I booked a catering for Nathan’s baptismal so we won’t worry much on other things.

These delicious foods were from Blue Petals Catering. Their event set up was pretty nice too.

Nathan's many gifts from friends, godparents and family. Well, he still doesnt mind all of these but Mommy was really happy.

A friend made the tarp for Nathan.

My officemates who grace Nathan's big day :)

My sister and I went to Divisoria to scout for a souvenir that they can use instead of just a display on the table or cabinet. We think it looks cute and in reasonable price too so I ordered 40 pcs of this candle holder.

Nathan's God parents, my highschool friend and hubby's close friend from his previous company.

Nathan's already sleeping during the entire ceremony as most of the baby's doing that time :)

Friends from my internet world.

We are proud and happy parents of Nathan. He once cried during the ceremony because its getting hot but the moment he heard the priest, he stopped and looked at him as if listening. Then during the time that we sing, he slowly drifted to sleep. The reception was way cooler than we expected so he didnt cry and instead gamely pose for the picture taking.

Welcome to the Christian world, Nathan! We love you so much!! :)))

4th Month

It Nathan’s 4th month today and because there’s work and we can’t both file a leave, I decided to bought a cake and pansit malabon along the way so we can celebrate at the house. Hubby came home early too and we noticed how Nathan grew bigger and bigger everyday. He was excited to see us all around him and he gladly smile at his Mom’s new camera :)

We feasted on the cake after dinner and we continue on taking picture of Nathan in our room. I noticed that he looks like more of his Daddy now. He smiles every time he heard his daddy’s voice and his eyes roll as if looking for him. I thank God that despite the changing weather nowadays he is always healthy and strong.

Happy 4th Month, Baby Nathan! Mom and Dad love you so much! :)
