♥ Happy 1st Birthday, Nathan! ♥

It’s Nathan’s special day! And the weeks of preparations and planning paid off, it was such a successful Angry Birds birthday celebration held in Shakey’s.  Lots of children with their parents came to celebrate with us and Nathan was quite curious with what is going on but he eventually went with some of our guests to our surprise, he didn’t even cried or felt uneasy and he welcomes all picture-taking with the others.  We were so proud of him.

I thanked our family, relatives, officemates, best friends, friends and class mates for taking time to be with Nathan that day.  I’m quite worried that we will start the party late because of traffic and we have a 4-day long vacation.  But my reminders paid off, they came minutes before the party time and the kids enjoyed the games, even the oldies participated.

Nate’s birthday cake was a stand out and everyone enjoyed the cup cakes and candies and Nate loves all the gifts. Thank God for making Nate’s celebration a success, I wish You continue blessing him with good health and happy years ahead.

Happy Birthday, Carl Nathan! Our baby joy :)

Excited

Few days more and Nathan will turn one year old. We've been preparing his party for weeks now and I hope everything will turn out right. It will be an angry bird’s party and it will spell F-U-N! I’m also thinking of long vacation next week because of All Saints and Souls Day and just imagining a long day with my family makes me dream that every week should have a legal holiday (ha-ha!) it will be great and wonderful, right?

I still have few more things to buy so my hubby can settle to our games prizes and souvenirs because he believes that the more the merrier. So to pacify him and just to move on with other important things to do, I will go back to shop with angry birds items.

But above all, hubby and I are so excited for Nate’s big day. Looking at him today, I never thought he’s grown up now and we can always play with him, go out in the mall with him, buy things for him and everything about him. I told hubby I want to go to places with Nathan and appreciate all the good things we can give him while we can. God is good all the times.

♥ Our 7th Year ♥

This is the day that I said “I do” to the man who means the world to me. Who makes me feel I’m the most beautiful woman in the world (though sometimes I thought he’s annoyingly smiling, or maybe I’m not really buying the idea and called his statement absurd. But I love being with my husband, we argued on some things but that made us know more each day.

I will never say that we are a perfect couple. And everybody might agree on that. We do have some ups and downs in our relationship but you will be surprise on how we managed to overcome those problems. As years passed by, I can truly say that our faith and our love for each other made us stronger.

We celebrate by strolling in Makati malls and I bought him the Sketchers shoes he really wants to buy since last month. He’s been giving me all my wishes and I said it’s time to give one thing he loves most. Nathan came with us in Greenbelt and we went to the church. And that night is unreasonably hot and I am afraid that Nathan will feel uncomfortable and we won’t be able to finish the mass. But he’s really a good baby, he just stays in his stroller and I continuously fanned him to made him feel cooler and the children was blessed with holy water before the mass ended.

But going to greenbelt 5 to eat is another thing. He wants solid food and lack of sleep creeps in and he started to cry (though not that loud) and I said to hubby, time to pack up and we just take out the food in Chilis. Good thing we got a taxi cab right away and the moment we step inside the cab, Nathan feel asleep. We can only smile.

I feel so blessed that we will able to thank God for all the blessings. Having a wonderful and understanding man for 7 years are such a blessing any woman can ever asked for. Happy 7th Wedding Anniversary, honey Jhon and I love you forever.

Check out

Looking at Nathan now, I thank God that He let my son recovered quickly from the deadly Dengue and pneumonia disease. We have no idea how Nathan was able to get that but one thing I know, we are not safe from the disease carrying mosquito wherever we are. So we need to be very cautious in cleaning our environment and our home and don’t let any flying insects bite your precious child ever again.

Nathan still needs to continuously take his antibiotic for his pneumonia for the next five days and twice a day. After a week, a follow up check up is necessary before he gets his clean bill of health. I don’t want to go on that stressful stage again. My sister can’t even take Nathan’s crying when the doctors were having a hard time putting his IV fluid and she just run away from the room and asked a friend to talk to her on the phone or else she might have a heart attack. The pain and cries of Nathan every time they need to get a blood sample for CBC and platelets count were unbearable. I just wish I can lessen the pain and be the one to take it just to spare him from that dilemma.

But above all, I am so grateful to have my family and close friends beside us during that time. I couldn’t ask for more. I just wish our baby Nathan will never have to be in that situation again.

New Business

My cousin wants something that can be done with no sweat at all. She said she wants to save more time so she can proceed on the next. I’m quite curious on what she’s been up to these past few days and I found out when she slips on something about zaarly. I know I have some doubts on her works sometimes but she said this time it’s different. So I let her talk about it over the phone and I think that is quite interesting. One time in our conversation, I was convinced to try it also but I have to check on that one day.

She’s been in the buy and sells business today and she’s in the process of testing all the possible ways to help her improve her newly found field. I would like to believe that she can make it now. She needs to trust people with this kind of business and I hope it will turn out all right for her. But I know with the help of the applications she’s using and the people and friends who are knowledgeable about it, it will be easier for her. She promised to tell more about it next time.

Top Student

My cousin wants to make a change in her schooling this year. She wanted to give back to my Aunt’s dedication in helping her to finish her studies with flying colors. But she is currently working right now. And even though she managed to do two things at the same time, she thinks that she saved enough money until she graduates and she can quit her job but she fears that she won’t be able to catch up in some subjects anymore.

Now, all she needs is act prep. She can help by the best tutors in town and that will seal the deal in her preparation to enter her favorite university next school year. We believe that she really needs a private tutor that will focus on her and will be dedicated all the way because it will really mean a lot to her. She said that she’s preparing herself to the big challenge and the TopTestPrep to begin with. Well, we are so excited on her plans and we hope for the best because she really deserves it.

Fever

We are all worried when Nathan suddenly had a fever again. He was just so active a day before but when he slept last night, he cried and he seems having difficulty in breathing. I found out he has runny nose and it irritates him a lot. Good thing I have this nose pump I bought months ago and it helps keeping the mucus out from his nose. He sleeps between me and hubby and I was shocked when I wake up to feed him his milk and found out that he’s hot. And I almost cried when I checked that he has fever again. Oh, no!

It seems persistent till now and I already gave a heads up to my supervisor that I may not able to come to the office because I will have Nathan check by his Paediatrician tomorrow. We can’t just ignore those symptoms now that we should be all alert because of the bad weather these days. I am so thankful to God that he still kind of alert and he drinks a lot of water and he really wanted to eat but his bitter taste buds rejected the solid food. I pray that he will get well soon. We are so heartbroken hearing his cries and he seems in pain but we will go to the doctor and we will see our baby jumping and dancing and laughing again. Please help us to pray for my son’s speedy recovery. Thanks!
