My nephew, Vince was hospitalized last Tuesday morning due to fever and infections, he was in the verge of dehydration and his pedia never let them go home. When i visited him that night, he still have fever and tonsillitis but he's okay. When the nurse arrived to check on his temperature, he asked the nurse why the dextrose is falling so slow ( he keeps on bragging that to his mom, coz he heard his doctor that he will only be allow to go home if the dextrose is empty). And the nurse patiently and sweetly answered his questions and we are all smiling because Vince was looking at her intently. And he faintly said, "okey" as if he can never believed what he just heard (lol!)
I've heard that he is allowed to go home now and I'm happy that he's okey, but that means he will take a special exams (their quarter exams is the day he was hospitalized) and a lot of catch ups in school. But i know he can pull it through. Get well soon, Vince!
