Sometimes, I hate to say that I want that “something” in front of my hubby. Because I told you before, if he things its cool and its pretty and it looks good on me whatever it is, he’ll find time to buy it and surprise me. I don’t want surprises but with hubby around, life is full of surprises. And I admit I love it. Last weekend, I told hubby to see what’s new in the Fossil watch store. I was fascinated to a pink colored watch before and looking at the glass display, I saw one new watch that looks perfect for me. I even tried it but told hubby, it’s quite expensive, I should save money to buy it and he just smile and said, why wait for next year? I answered, because I still have watches to wear and it’s also fossil brand and I thought I should have new one next year.

But that’s my husband! And his nephew suddenly told me when I came home last night if I already see the watch they bought. My heart plummeted to the ground as I anticipated that it must be the watch I promised to buy next year. He keeps on denying but he gave up because I freaked out and insisting him to show it to me! And there it was my brand new beautiful pink watch. I so love it! Thank you so much hubby! I can’t thank you enough for all the love and ehem.. surprises ♥

My cousin loves her work and at the same time giving her best to finished her studies. Our family is so proud of her for making it this far despite of having troubles keeping up with her hectic schedules. Her patience and perseverance paid off and now she’s busy on her gmat preparation. She as full of promises for her future and for her family as well that we can’t help but to applaud her knowing she would want to take an MBA. She’s been dreaming of that for so long and now that everyone’s on her side to help her make it through, there’s no way she can’t have the best school for her graduate studies.

Right now, she’s taking her time to focus on her application. I told her to take a short vacation just to unwind and relax because that’s what she needed most. And she deserves to take a breather for all the hard work and sacrifices. My aunt wants me to come with my cousin because she thinks I also deserve to take a vacation and that’s because I always asked them to take me so I can tour with them. But I’m so proud to have a family like them. I always feel at home.

Riding Team

Summer time and kids are all in school vacation much to the delight of my son, Nathan. He loves to play with his older cousins and he enjoys every minute with them. Nathan already knew how to feel sad whenever they will bid him goodbye or they are not around. They wish I can still have another baby so he’ll not feel alone and that is our fervent prayers, too. But for now, we are his best friends and he and his Dad’s biggest playground is the Mall of Asia.

Now he’s trying to ride not only in the usual Merry-go round but he loves to try other children’s rides like the new Honey bee ride at the sea side area and the indoor Ferris wheel. I can’t believe he’s not scared riding that high unlike me who doesn’t want to just even try. I hate the feeling of like something is twisting your stomach and making me throw up.

He’s having a time of his life playing. And it feels like I’m being a kid again seeing how happy he is. I simply love his smile. It brightens everyone else feeling around him. Well, another to-do lists whenever he hears the word, Mall.

Renovations

My aunt used to say that she and my uncle wanted to make some changes on their house. She’s been very patience in saving money for a long time just to have this dream house and lawn renovations and she wanted it to be perfect for her family. Her children are all grown up now and staying in a boarding school. That’s why she dreamt of having a beautiful family yard just for their family bonding when my cousins go home during school breaks. I can feel for her because that’s all I wanted during off office hours and weekends, to be with my family and explore the world with them.

To save time and money, my aunt is now scouting for a company that can handle the job on yard. Her friends keep telling her about Installitdirect and since her friends already had their pavements and lawns renovated, she should trust the experienced one. One of her colleague even shows her newly transformed patios and if she wanted she’ll recommend her trusted riverside pavers. My aunt is now getting excited with all these good stories and everyone else now wanted to get involve. That’s how our strong family ties works and I’m proud to have a family like this.

I know I had a lot of problems sticking to my promises that I have to cut all my food intakes and go for a rigid exercise, plans of enrolling to a gym and fulfilling all these this year. But I just can’t resist all these lovely offers from a living well site offering as much as 60% discount when you purchase a voucher. Sometimes I have no choice but to avail it once I find it truly tempting especially when it is all about buffet lunch or dinner in a hotel or a salt scrub plus body spa near our place.

I surprised hubby in his post birthday last 2 weeks ago with a buffet lunch at Manila Pavilion and though he had an idea after I insists to go there after we hear a mass at Malate Church, he just smile and said, I think I know where were going. And yes, it was an amazing experience touring the city just to eat endlessly. But what I like most is their desserts (I think I like the main courses in Trader’s more) and their special freebies of bunny milk chocolates. Well, it is just once every 3 months or it depends on the offers but I think I like the idea of buying more (in a less price, of course) for to have a taste of what Metro Manila hotels can offer.

My cousin wanted to make sure that she’ll be doing great at school. With the sky rocketing tuition fees and other miscellaneous that you need to pay, she can’t afford to lose her opportunities to graduate on time. She wanted to start by having to learn more on her incoming subjects before the school year start so she can have both time at school and at work so she won’t sacrifice her studies.

She often told me having troubles in some subjects before. I’m always telling her to check on some site that will help her deal with all her hard subjects and is willing to support her all throughout her learning days. She told me she would try a palo alto language tutors that was recommended by her class mates and friends at school. I said she can try and maybe it will really help her.

Science subjects is her forte and I many are telling her that maybe in the near future, she can be one of the tutors in her favorite subject like physics. Why not, I saw her perseverance in her studies. But for now I wanted her to do what’s best for her and hope she’ll succeed.

Summer is here! And it’s scorching hot outside! I have to wear sunscreen on my face and I’m not going out without my umbrella because it will totally ruin my day. I have colds now because of heat and cold condition when going out and back to our air-conditioned office.

I think of ways to ease the feeling and when we went to the Mall last weekend. I saw a kiosk reminding me of my elementary days, an ice scramble! And I’m proud to introduce it my baby Nate and hubby’s delighted to know that its back and he said he likes it too during his younger years. The old scramble mix is with powdered milk and liquid Hershey’s chocolate on top but now I saw that variants of toppings like nips candies, marshmallows, choco bits and others are available for your scramble. Children fall in line just to have this affordable and yet delicious ice craze.

I also made some fruit ice candy at home and that will surely make our day during every hot afternoon. I having a second thought organizing a swimming outing for our family, I can’t bear to swim in an open pool like that, never.
