Something New

My friend suddenly called me if I’m interested in buying a new house. I was surprised to know that she make a sudden career change and switch in real estate when she has a promising career in a logistics company before. But I know she can pull it through because she’s really good in marketing when we’re still both in college and she can apply all her knowledge on her newly found career now. She said she’s using the top producer to aid her to be a successful agent someday, she still needs some good support and she can’t wait to make more money on it.

For a start, she’s offering me some ecofriendly homes and my hubby is excited about it, we are dreaming of owning an environment friendly house and we are ecstatic to tour the place. They said it can save you a lot in terms of energy and a lot more but we worry on how expensive getting a house like that but she said we can still manage to own one and she promise that it will be within our budget. I can only wish that this year will be the best year to start our life anew with a new house, well, it may come true.

♥ 9th Month! ♥

It’s baby Nathan’s 9th month today and I am so happy that he’s growing up way too fast! He already has 6 milk teeth (4 upper front teeth and 2 lower front teeth) and he made it without getting sick. He had a mild fever of 37.5 degree Celsius last night but he’s well now after taking up some paracetamol for babies.

I asked Mom to cooked pansit canton, one of our favorite from my Mom’s golden hands while I and Nathan with my sister went to meet with my friends in Makati to get the toy car a friend gave to Nathan before she leave to France this mid August. She said it her advance birthday gift and Nathan was so delighted. I take the opportunity to buy Nathan’s cake before we headed home. We were so tired but my family was there to celebrate Nate’s special day. Aubrey said he can’t wait for Nathan’s first birthday. 3 more months and I’m keeping my hands busy already.

Baby's Weekend

Nathan got a change to stroll in Mall of Asia again. Hubby initially wanted to go to Greenbelt 3 and it was supposed to be Nate’s first trip to Makati. But it rained that afternoon and we think Greenbelt is more of an open air type than Mall of Asia so we decided it can wait and MOA is safer and we can get a cab without risking Nathan’s health when it rains.

We are so delighted to know that Nathan had a good time moving around and being happy. I strongly believe he will end up like his daddy’s fondness inside the mall. So when we stop by in one corner while we waited for Daddy, I was surprised to see that Nate happily poses for the pictures. I can another trip next week after Nathan’s 2nd flu vaccine.

Happy Days

My boss is happy nowadays, when we asked him on some tips he can share to us from being so care free and happy.  He replied that he just contented on what is going on with his life these day.  He said that he was able to invest his money in stocks and was delighted to know that it's going well. We became too curious about it since we knew that in time we needed some good investments for our future and for our children.  He became our inspiration and we wanted to be like him in terms of doing some good business.

I kept thinking to encourage my husband to try it and make our boss to be a living proof that it works well even without that much money. During break time, our boss lectures us about stock picks and all the benefits of it.  I thought I can continue doing that even when the time comes that I need to resign from my work to focus more on raising our son.  I can even help my husband in saving for our dream house.  Good thing my boss is willing to help us, he said he really wanted to share his blessings.

Overnight Stay

Honestly, I’m having a second thought of coming to my friends get together in Marriott Hotel. The fact that it’s an overnight stay, I’m feeling guilty that I will take away the only chance we had during weekend, family bonding. But my very understanding hubby insists I should go, its free and not every day that you will have a chance to stay in a 5 star hotel.

I really missed my friends, sometimes online chat is not enough to talk about how life is going in each and every one of us. So I gathered my things, my laptop, my SLR camera and some toiletries and headed to the hotel and meet with my friends. And the rest is history. We just enjoyed every minute together, we ate at Sizzling Pepper Steak restaurant, relax at Coffee Bean and tried the Jacuzzi and sauna that was really relaxing but I choose to dip in the bubble bath tub back in our hotel room.

It’s an overnight stay and the following day is the realization that we have to go home and we were all having a head ache by the lack of sleep. We ate lunch at Pancake house then I’m the first one to get a taxi cab. It’s all worth it. I wish we can have that moment again some other time. Thank God for having friends like them. I feel so lucky.

One Happy Baby

Look on how Nathan proudly sits without any of our help! We are all happy to see him doing that even before he reaches his 9th month this July 29. He is truly amazing and learning to do things that is so fascinating. He’s growing big and heavy each day, and his grannies are having a hard time holding unto him longer because he keeps on reaching for something that interest him. He even sings with them and made different sounds and sometimes shouts on the top of his lungs. He’s one happy baby and before the month ends, he will again visit his paediatrician for the 2nd shot of his flu vaccine. And of course another short trip to the mall after.

Travel Plans

My family loves to travel, every weekend we see to it that we will all go out to try something new away from our home. We sometimes stayed overnight and explore the places and never forget to buy something as a souvenir to that place. My sister even joked that she needs to ask our share in case her car needs a repair. She’s a bit worried that it will cost her a lot in maintaining the good condition of her car and especially if problem arises. We suggested checking on some site that will help answer all her questions regarding her Toyota car.

And good thing she came across this site that can answers all her questions and what she should know about her car. She said that repairpal.com help her to know more about her car and its common problems. It even gave her ideas on the estimated repair cost because my sister know that no matter how she take good care of her car there will come a time that she needs to repair some of its parts. And she wants to get ready when the time comes and that she’s learning on some expert advice. And now we are talking on spending my birthday out of town. Everybody is excited about it.
