Thy Ring

Hubby yet surprised me with another thing I wanted most long time ago. It’s the eternity ring. I once told him before that when we want to renew our wedding bow, I wanted to have our new wedding ring and that’s the one. But it only came as a joke because wearing our wedding band are the most important thing happened in our wedding. But when we often go to Quaipo and as we ate at our favorite Chinese restaurant, we passed by to the many jewelry stores in the vicinity. And there in that particular store, I once checked and wear one Eternity ring and he asked me if I like it. Of course I like it, actually I love it!. But since we are in the tight budget, I shrugged it off and returned the ring to the lady at the store.

Never knew that when we went to Quiapo last week with Mom and my sister, he had this idea of asking me again to check on the ring. And I obliged since my mom wants to buy new necklace, and I'm indulging myself on trying some other jewelries. And then, all of a sudden, it happened quite too fast, he was bargaining the price to the owner of the store and after few minutes, I got the ring! Wow! He said since his birthday is approaching he might as well give himself a present… a present for me. I’m speechless. And i can't find the words... just thank you and kiss said it all.

Now, I have to think much way better on what to give him on his birthday next month.

really looks nice in my finger! =)

this picture is similar to my ring, i got it from the net.

Shocking Blue

I'm sporting a glitter blue nail polish on my toe and finger nails and they said it’s kind of cute though I know it will really look good on a fair complexion skin.  Just carry on, girl! =)

I’m back here in the office and as usual the loads are filing up but not that much compare with the loads I’m doing while I’m handling export work. I forgot our payroll cut-off period was yesterday, but I managed to squeeze in my work leaves this morning and emailed our payroll admin to consider.  I’m glad that she did include it this pay period.

Tatay was discharged yesterday from the hospital. And I’m glad and we’re lucky his new doctor is really kind and accommodating.  I only have praises for Makati Medical Center.  Our bill costs are much lesser compare to Tatay’s previous hospital. I just hope Tatay's health will improve.

Build Your Dreams

My family loves car because we travel a lot.  And since we are all traveling with some children in tow, having your own car can make a big difference. That’s why this year, hubby and I are really saving up extra money to afford a car on our own and not always asking my sister and borrow her car.  Hubby wants to explore nearby provinces and likes to travel by car, he said we can save a lot of money than riding a bus going to our destination.

And just in time, I come across this blog about BYD (Build Your Dreams) Auto which is well known in the car business since its started selling cars in 2003.  They have this new electric cars and plug-in hybrids like F6DM plug-in hybrid sedan and the less expensive F3DM plug-in hybrid compact car in which I just hope they market their way here in the Philippines.  It will be such great news to all car lovers!  My husband will surely like to have one for him self since it is cheaper compare to others. It’s quite practical to have this car with its very impressive features.  You can visit their website at http://www.BYD.com  to know more about this new Byd Electric cars.

The latest update

Tatay was confined in Makati Medical Center last Saturday afternoon, and I must say we’re happy we transferred him to that hospital; it was amazing and Tatay’s hemoglobin as of this moment is already 9 compare to last Saturday’s blood test result of 5. And my hubby’s office mate’s are so helpful donating blood for my father in law. And good thing hubby’s cousin came from Pampanga to help us and accompanied Nanay at the hospital.

Kuya Bhoy and the rest of the family ate lunch here in our house and I cooked his favorite viands, lechon kawali, pinakbet and bicol express.
And his twins are getting bigger and bigger each time they came here.

We are both tired, but we managed to smile and watch our new series, Prison Break.

Tomorrow, I will be the one to prepare the foods to bring at the hospital; hubby can’t take a leave from work so I filed a leave instead. He needs to accomplished lots of thing at the office.

"Getting Ready"

I and hubby were very busy these past few days for Tatay’s hospitalization. But tomorrow is the big day, we already reserved a room at Makati Medical Center and his doctor said that he initially needs 3 bags of blood for his blood transfusion. Hubby are now looking for possible donors in his office but this is the 4th time that Tatay needs blood transfusion and most of his colleagues volunteered to donate and he’s quite shy on asking them again for a second round =) I told him I can donate blood if there are no other options.

It’s been a hard days for both of us and mostly to my hubby. But we somehow managed to pull it through.

My only brother came home from Qatar, but I haven’t seen him yet. He went straight to his son’s home in Nueva Ecija. He gave me snickers chocolate, lotion and shampoo. When I think of talking to his supposed to be wife, she did something wrong again to my family that made my face turns red and my blood rise to the maximum level. Haha! I felt bad sometimes. But she is really annoying. What can I do? I know mom and my sister skipped the part of the story when they went to our house last Tuesday, but my father called me yesterday and talked about it. He said my sister slipped on telling It to them when she went to Laguna.

My body really needs to rest. But I know it’s more on emotional stress and everything else follows. I need more strength I can get.

Too Hot to handle

Chase, our miniature pinscher suddenly feels the heat. That’s why he didn’t chew the shades I put on him while he’s resting on our bed. Ha-ha! That’s what I did all day long. We had a series of family meetings here and it was so hot outside that when the sun finally set, we are now busy doing some other things. It’s our mall-less weekend as hubby quips.

I’m looking for the free access online to watch Gossip girl 2009 episodes but hubby’s we-roam is giving me (again!) slow connection that I gave up searching.

I accompanied hubby to the nearest beauty parlor for his pedicure and hair cut. Since I am already there and I thought it would be better if I should have a new hair cut coz my long hair really bothers me during hot season. Hmmm… when it’s done, hubby said it looks good and I rely on his words for that. Ok then, it really looks good. What will happen after I take a bath tomorrow is another question. Will it be fabulous or a scary hair. Find out!

Even at night, the heat is burning up my skin that I craved for an ice cream after our parlor stint and we walked to the nearest 7-11 store, bought Selecta’s limited edition flavor of coffee-caramel ice cream and headed home. Yummy!
