Healthy Life

I have been thinking of delicious yet nutritious snack for my family especially with Nathan likes on something new to eat every day. Well, he gets that from his Dad and I’m quite worried that it will harm his health than do good on his growing age.
When I met my high school best friend last week she shared the same sentiments towards her daughter before but she found out from her colleagues about a healthy seeds that becomes their daily consumption. I became so curious that I dig on the net more and learned how to eat chia seeds and I found out that there are so many things I can do with that seeds that will help my family to have the healthy foods they badly needed every day.

By reading the chia seeds blog, I found out what’s my friend’s been telling me about it. I can find more ways to introduce it to my son and family like they are just having their usual snacks but now with more nutritional values. I have to keep on eye with my son’s eating habits and I just hope he will not be that picky on foods but now with the help of chia seeds, I can be more at ease with what he eats.

Tantrums

We always know Nathan as sweet little boy with a happiest spirit on earth. But as he grows fast and now a little toddler, he’s behavior is changing day by day and throwing tantrums is on the top list. He wants to get things that are not allowed for him to play and he cry his heart out whenever he can’t get want he wants. His pediatrician said I should have one person to look at him personally whenever hubby and I are in the office. Nate’s age means exploration, wandering, curiosity and testing all the things he sees around him.

Nate wanted to play the fork and spoon and he mightily throwing a fit. ha-ha!

And even with our smiling faces in the pictures, his dramatic pose says it all :)

But Nate’s tantrums can be easily diverted to other thing, in which I think we should need to be on alert on that. Sometimes he used his moods to get on the way and then smiles happily on you when he has it. Soon he will grow up and will no longer allow us to call him baby. But he will always be our little prince and for now, we will enjoy being with him every single day with or without his tantrums :)

Travel Plans

I always wanted to travel. That’s one thing that hubby and I have in common, we love to travel and we wanted to explore. Travelling abroad is our long time dream and I am wishing that we can do it in the near future. I wish to travel in Australia and New Zealand and I was so fascinated on their breath taking places and their wonderful sceneries. It’s like being in a wonderland. I wanted to try their famous bungee jumping sites and conquer my fear of heights.

My friend and her family migrated to New Zealand last year and she always reminds me to visits them if we decided to travel abroad. She said she’s still not familiar with the whole places but I shouldn’t worry much because we can get the best New Zealand travel agent in town and we can tour around with no hassle at all. She told me once I’m there, I will be thinking to live in that place too. She wishes we can be together with our own family.

Well, that really inspires me and gives me this will to save and plan for this to happen. Hubby said sooner the better. And I have to cross my fingers for that.

Happy 36th!

To the man I truly adore. For the wonderful and generous daddy and husband in this lifetime, it’s his special day today and it is Holy Thursday. Well, all the last week of March and first week of April celebrators falls to the Lenten Season week and hubby is used to that every year. As we observe Holy Week, I can’t help but to greet happily the man who really deserves the word happiness.

I have a surprise treat for him this Easter Sunday at Manila Pavillion and he kept on asking me where are we going that day because I told him to reserve that day for just the two of us since my Mom really wanted to get Nathan and stayed in their place for even a just a day. And I take that as one opportunity to spend a day having a late celebration for him.

I can’t thank the Lord enough for giving me my hubby whose very patient and understanding (minus all some minor differences which me maturely settled in a matter of minutes) but above all that, I wish him good health, great job, wonderful years ahead. I love you, honey and may the good Lord bless you more.

Think good, feel good

I started my Monday at the office knowing I have to finish before the long holidays all the papers and checking to be submitted next week. I still have manage my time dividing all the works I have right now and April fools get into me and I have another work assignment in current lists right now but you can’t do anything to complain because If I will not accept it, then who will do it?

I have to shake off this feeling that long weekend is coming but my body says, I hope tomorrow is holiday because my body feels that I need to rest. I have a full day everyday and how I wish I can find what I’m checking for by just looking in one binder. But it’s not so I have to endure taking all the binders in my table, flipping each page one by one and do it all over again if I missed one item.

Well, maybe I’m new to the job and once I perfected the process, that is will be easy as 1-2-3. I have full hopes this April and I just have to give it all. I need to stay focus and positive always. Aja, aja! ♥

Hard habit to break

I know I promised to myself never to get involved in the Pinoy Big Brother show but I guess hubby was right after all, it’s a hard habit to break. I was successful on not watching at all, not posting on the online threads or even check my twitter about it. But it takes one friend to convince me that I need to help their group to organize or advise them on what to do (because she said I’m a veteran supporter of this show) and deep inside, I really like this one particular girl housemate and though I admit I can’t catch up with the whole stories, I know I can help them in anyway I can.

So when a friend told me I should go with them to meet Tin in person, I hesitated at first but my fondness with her prevails so I went to the meeting place with my SLR camera with me. We went to Trinoma to buy some presents together with the group and finally meet her, fresh and blood. She is so gorgeous, fun to be with, and very down to earth. Her family were so supportive and everybody were happy together, different folks with one goal, to be with Tin and share the same passion of not giving up though we are all disappointed that she never make it on Big 4 with just a week left.

I’m happy to meet new friends. It’s such a tiring day but we were so full with the foods her family provided and definitely very fulfilling.

Growing Up

Just want to share with you that Nathan is a big little boy now! He is so active, curious and exploring his whole world that we need to act fast or he will leave you behind.

My hubby and I felt the happiness for having Nathan around. He brightens our tiring day in the office. He never fails to amaze us with all new words and things he learns by just copying the oldies. He loves to dance, one day a group of sales personnel in SM department store gathered around him because his dancing with the centralized music in the mall (and yes, it’s the 80’s disco music they were playing that time) but no worries, just a beat can make him dance gracefully. One thing I know, they were all clapping and cheering for him and my heart swells with gladness. My phone is new at that time and I was so disappointed that I thought I was able to record the whole dance of Nate but when I check it at home, I recorded nothing. But I there will be more as I see it. He really loves the music and the music loves him.
