Long Flight

Hubby and I are always fond of travelling.  Sometimes when he went abroad for some business trips, he wished I was with him so I can see the world with him.  I’ve been saving up for our family trips and now hubby is keen to push through with our long time plan.  Nathan is growing fast and can now appreciate everything around that amaze him.  So we thought it is the right time to go abroad and we will try to visits our relatives and friends.

So I need to look for good travel agents to help us on our needs because I don’t want to go to a certain place without even have knowledge about it.   We will be travelling with our kid and this should be a dream trip to all of us.  I am more excited by just thinking on the many places we can visit with my whole family on my side.  I shouldn’t forget the tips for going overseas that according to my friend who frequently travels abroad is a must.  I need to know more about travelling with kids to ensure their safety.  We will have to find the right moment to pack up and enjoy our ultimate trip this year.

Raffle Prizes

One thing I really like in attending parties is the raffle draws and game prizes. I love to bring the kid out of me and I participated in all the games I can join. Well, it’s fun to be like a child sometimes, no stress, no pressure, no inhibitions, and no reservations just being happy all the times. So during the party in Tin get together last week, I never knew I would be getting a box set of beauty products from a raffle draw, I’m thinking lady luck is nowhere when the cell phones and Starbucks gift certificates are being given away one by one, but just when I thought that I will be going home empty handed, Tin called my name and there it is, one of the few raffle prizes left.





Patience is really a virtue. But above all that, I can see that everyone went home after the party with the smile on their faces. It’s all worth it.

Online Opportunity

A close friend of mine decided to resign from her work to concentrate on her new job as full time mother to her new born baby girl.  As months passed by and she started missing the office job and her own earnings and bonus.  But she doesn’t want to leave her son at home with her nanny and she said she’s enjoys every minute watching her baby grow.   Her husband noticed that and asked her if she wanted to start her online business, where she can work and take care of the baby without leaving the comfort of their home. 


She’s delighted to hear the good news and started her plans right away because she knows some people who can help her with the merchandise to sell on line.  But she don’t want to burden her hubby with the money so she’s asking her friends if they know something about online business loans that will help to start her newest project.  When we meet last week to celebrate a friend’s birthday, we teased her that maybe she wanted to buy another house that she needed a lot of cabbage (means cash) so she wanted to venture on an online business.  Well maybe we can help her with some things to sell after all I think that’s a very good idea.

Party!

After of almost 1 month of preparations, we finally had our first get together party for Tin.  And all the hard works, patience and team work paid off because the results are awesome.  We had a blast that night and everybody is happy with all the raffle draw prizes and give away like button pins and Tin’s personalize mugs. 

I gave the credits to the admins of the group because despite of some brouhaha they still managed to have a party that Tin and her family really enjoyed.  I was so tired after the get together but was so happy knowing I shared it with them.  I’m not an old timer in that group but they asked for my help for my party contacts and catering and they are so thankful I helped them in that aspect.  I already told a friend that I can’t support that much because Nathan needs my full attention every weekend, but they said all I have to do is help them with their plans.  I’m so glad I met them, I have a new set of friends because of Tin.

Bigger Dreams

My Uncle Rene is business minded person. Sometimes when he had a time to visits Dad and Mom in our family house, I always wanted to talk to him because he shares some valuable lessons in life. He wishes he can be like him in the near future and I must say he’s quite confident now than ever before. His family is now living comfortably thanks to my Uncle’s ability in trading business. He shares what he learns and he never forgets to remind us that we don’t need large amount of capital to start in this kind of business.

I received a call last weekend from him and we talk about our families, my work, his business and he said if I’m really interested, he can share something about Tim sykes reviews. Well, my Uncle gives me this inspirations that maybe I can venture in other types of business aside from being employed through my entire career. He used to be a loyal employee before but he think that I is not enough for his family to live the way he wanted so he follow his instinct and now he is so successful.

I just wish I can be like him someday.

Old Places

When a friend asked me to join them in a dinner meeting with Patrimonio family, I honestly told her I can’t come for so many reasons. I don’t feel like going out after work because I was dead tired, the meeting place was quite too far from the office, Friday means heavy traffic going to MRT and the MRT during rush hours means disaster. I have lots of alibis in my mind but it means a lot to have this meeting for our May 5 party for Tin. So even if I have hundred reasons not to go, I have one main reason to see them.

I have to go to Araneta in Cubao to meet them but we decided to go first at Eastwood, Libis while the others are watching the basketball finals. And while at my friends car going to Libis I suddenly felt goose bumps and all the memories came back when I used to travel from Cubao to Libis every day for almost 3 years. It’s amazing how the place transformed from having just a few business buildings to a well known spots now with all tallest structures everywhere. I have this urged to go to IBM building and see if my old friends are still there but I need to reserved the seats in a Korean restaurant and I’m having fun with my other 2 friends whose with me that time.

I’ll promise myself I will go there again if time permits. I still haven’t show hubby the world of Eastwood City. We will do it some other time. ♥

Gift Cards

Being so sweet and thoughtful are some of my hubby’s best traits. He gave me anything I wanted as long as he can afford it and he’d surprised me with it as long as he can hide it. As for me, I always make sure he really likes anything that I would like to buy for him so to avoid mistakes, I asked him what he wants and I guess that is not a surprise at all.


But one day he approached me and asking me about gift rocket gift cards online that he said his friends is using instead of buying gifts and giving it personally. He said many of his colleagues who want to give gifts but can’t think of anything to buy is now enjoying this with just one click on their computer. I think that is cool since most of us nowadays would like to spend it in any way that we like with less hassle on the recipient of the gift cards.



I even joked about it and said maybe he’s thinking another surprise for me and he just smile as he always do, no confirmation, no agreements. Well, maybe I will be the one to surprise him one day.
