After work, i went to mall of asia to meet with my hubby Jhon and mico. I supposed to pay for our meralco bill but i forgot the receipt in the house and we need to pay that before the due date. We dine in at El Polo loco restaurant coz Mico wants chicken for a meal...and after few minutes of strolling and buying some personal stuff... i asked my hubby what he wants for dessert... He looked around and he fixed his eyes on one area at the 2nd floor. I followed his gaze and i found out that his looking at the Haagen-Dazs ice cream... I laughed and said to him, "no, way!"
The last time (if i remembered it right) that we bought ice cream at Haagen-dazs was when were still on the first year of our bf-gf relationship...such a long time ago... We all know how expensive this ice cream is... and if your not that rich and you know that one scoop of that extra creamy ice-cream can buy a 90 liters of 3 in 1 ice cream of nestle or selecta.....that's the big difference! While i'm eyeing on him to back out, we still walk towards the place at the 2nd floor...and the kind crew immediately scoop a small sample of every flavor of the ice cream in a tiny plastic spoon that if would be a shame not to buy ....
And so, the "cheapest" price i looked in their menu is a whooping P150/ scoop! I saw my haney smiling at me when i ordered for 1 scoop of macadamia nuts, they said its their best seller so far... just to make the high cost worthy, i just asked the crew to add a little ice cream on the cup.. hahaha! well, pinoy style... always asking for a "dagdag"......
Well, i satisfied the cravings of my husband on that ice cream and i hope the next time he aches for haagen dazs again... it wont be their ice cream cake!
