It’s the most wonderful time of the year. You can almost feel the love in the air because we all celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
As the tradition goes, we went to the market early in the morning to buy all the things I needed for my Christmas menu and that include pork, chicken, fish recipes plus the desserts and most of all the gifts to our love ones. I never mind that I almost stayed most of the time cooking in the kitchen, just looking at them makes me want to cook more. Nathan now learns to walk and he walks all over the house and making us happy with his laugh and dance and he sometimes sing. My brother’s twins were here to celebrate Christmas with us before my sister will bring them back to their province to celebrate New Year in their mother’s family.
Instead of the yearly family games, I just put a red Chinese envelop with a P100 peso bill in it and hang it in our Christmas tree. I put their names on a small box and let my nephew draw 5 lucky winners. We top the morning with the gift giving. I went to sleep at 4am in the morning feeling contented and happy.
Happy Birthday, Papa Jesus and Merry Christmas, blogging friends!
